Nephilim, the first race?

Nephilim, the first race?

Nephilim, the first race? Original article by Alessandro Brizzi.

The name Nephilim, present in the Old Testament (Torah), in several non-canonical books of Judaism and in ancient Christian writings, refers to a people present on earth at the time of the crossing between the “sons of God” and ” daughters of men “, as the biblical story (Genesis) narrates.

The term is also used with regard to the giants who inhabited the land of Canaan. A similar term but with a different sound is used in the Book of Ezekiel and refers to the dead Philistine warriors. In the Bible the word Nephilim is often translated as “giants” or “titans”. The root therefore most accredited is the Aramaic “naphil” which literally means “giants”.

In the Aramaic language there is the term [nephilà], a proper name that identifies the constellation of Orion. In this regard, many scholars argue that the root “nephil” refers to the constellation of Orion: the term “Nephilim” would therefore be the plural of “nephila”. As the Bible says, the Giants were initially human beings.

Some versions speak of famous heroes, fallen warriors or even fallen Angels; yet another translation could be those that are precipitated, since the name derives from the Semitic root nafal, which means to fall. There have been some attempts to reconcile mythology with science by theorizing that at the root of mythology there are elements of truth in the form of a very distorted “legend”. In this context, the Nephilim have been associated with the population of Atlantis, which some claim to be in contact with or even descendants of extraterrestrials.

What happened to the Nephilim? The Nephilim were one of the main reasons for the great flood that came at the time of Noah. Immediately after the mention of the Nephilim, the Word of God tells us “And the LORD saw that the wickedness of men was great on earth, and that all the designs of the thoughts of their hearts were nothing but evil at all times.

And the LORD repented that he had made man on the Earth, and he grieved in his heart. And the LORD said, ‘I will cut off from the face of the earth the man whom I have created: from man to cattle, to reptiles, to the birds of the heavens; because I regret having made them ‘. So God has flooded the whole earth, killing everyone and everything (including the Nephilim) except Noah and his family and the animals in the ark. Where have the Nephilim gone after the flood? Genesis says that “At that time there were giants on Earth, and there were also”.

It seems therefore that the demons repeated their sin even after the flood. However it occurred less widespread than before the flood. When the Israelites spied the land of Canaan, they said to Moses: “and we have seen the giants, children of Anak, of the race of the giants, with respect to which we seemed to be locusts; and we seemed to them “. This passage does not specifically indicate that there were Nephilim, but that the spies thought they had seen the Nephilim. It is more probable that the spies saw the inhabitants of Canaan of great size and mistakenly thought that it was Nephilim. In any case, those “giants” were destroyed by the Israelites during the invasion of Canaan and in the following historical period. All this, has a correlation with the Ancient Aliens, God at the time has forbidden the race of giants to develop in our day and therefore we can confirm that the Nephilim will no longer follow on our Earth, but most likely came from another world or at least from another dimension.
