Fighters from both countries went into action and eventually the “UFO” was hit by a missile fired from an F22

New downing of an unidentified object in North American skies, this time in northern Canada, a day after the one in Alaska. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ordered it struck after the North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad) spotted and tracked it “at high altitude.” Fighter jets from both countries went into action and eventually the ‘UFO’ was hit by a missile fired from an F22. “I spoke with President Biden this afternoon. Canadian forces will now recover and analyze the wreckage of the object (unidentified, ed.). Thanks to NORAD for watching over North America,” Trudeau tweeted.

Meanwhile, it is still thick mystery for now about the object shot down on Friday, Feb. 10 on Joe Biden’s orders in Alaska, near the Canadian border, because it flew at 40,000 feet (12,000 meters) “posed a reasonable threat to civilian air traffic.” The White House and the Pentagon have limited themselves to reporting that it is a cylindrical-shaped flying object without a pilot and visible surveillance instruments, about the size of a small car, while the spy balloon — to which it bears no resemblance — was 60 meters high, like two or three buses. But it is unknown where it came from, who it belonged to, how fast it traveled, whether it was maneuverable, and whether it had spy capabilities.

Answers are awaited from examination of the remains, still being recovered in icy waters 10 miles off the coast in Alaska. But the fact that the U.S. administration does not want to speculate on what the object might be, even after a day of observations, increases questions about what kind of ‘Ufo’ might be so difficult to identify by experienced pilots and intelligence leaders. Thoughts run to the growing number of UFO sightings in recent years, more than 500 in 2022, 310 of which have no plausible explanation.
