Lemuria, civilization disappearance, or live in another land? The Lemurian continent hosted the first human civilization of which we have news. The real birth of the continent took place in science. It was for the first time assumed the existence of M.P.L.Sclater, who, between 1850 and 1860, claimed that in prehistoric times there was a large area that included territories from Madagascar to Ceylon and Sumatra.
The idea of an ancient continent in those areas of the planet was suggested by zoological affinities between the above mentioned territories, including the presence of lemurs who gave her name to the continent. Instead, the naturalist Wallace argued that such a continent would be possible between Australia up to New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and perhaps Figji islands. The continent would also like Wallace explained how the marsupials could have reached the Australian continent. The assumptions Sclater and Wallace came into conflict, although at some point Wallace admitted that there must have been in the past a land bridge between India and Australia.
The discussion continued and Haeckel suggested that the Lemurian continent probably existed between the Permian and nummulitic, was the cradle of the human race, as it was considered the seat of the apes. The discussion, at first only scientific, then was revived by theosophy which asserted that the Lemurian continent was the home of the third root-race and place of origin of humanity. Theosophy talking, the man did not develop according to Lemuria evolution, but through a condensation of matter that came to form the body.
That is: the beginning those who would become men were immaterial entities that appeared on earth with the passage of time more and more materials and body. The bodies of the first root race, as he says W. Scott-Elliot in “History of Lemuria submerged”, were like giant ghosts, because their bodies consisted only of astral matter. Subsequently, the first mother breed was equipped with a denser coating. The bodies of the second root-race were defined ethereal and they too were invisible to the eye.
The bodies of the third race mother finally had solid gas compounds, liquid and matter. The bones were soft like those of children (in fact they could not stand up) and only in the middle of their history could enjoy a greater skeletal structure. The Lemurian of this period possessed two rudimentary eyes in front and one behind – said third eye or astral eye – corresponding to the pineal gland which served as the center of the astral and physical sight. To the third sub-race, the gelatinous body of the Lemurian is even more solidified and was later able to keep an upright structure and, through the use of the third eye and a ledge in the heels, walking back and forth. Probably in the fifth sub-race man has definitively Lemurian. He was tall by three meters and a half to four and a half meters, had the yellowish-brown skin, the lower jaw elongated, flattened face.
Small eyes, penetrating and far apart, allowed both the view forwards and sideways, the third eye gave him backward views. Instead of the forehead had a fleshy roll, the head was tilted back and his arms were disproportionate to our and had huge hands and feet. Around the head he had short hair and was dressed in skins. Usually he held in the left hand and a stick in his right hand led with a rope a kind of reptile-like plesiosaur, which help in the hunt. The seventh sub-race gave rise to a superior race. He had developed a sort of opposite the heels projection had shrunk, his head had an egg shape and had decreased the height and size of limbs. This established an important civilization that lasted thousands of years and dominated much of the continent of Lemuria. Initially the Lemurians were dumb, but then developed a monosyllabic primitive language. After the separation of the sexes, the body of the Lemurian solidified and began to live in the heights inside rudimentary huts. Earlier each family lived in a single hut, then it was considered safer to live together in community. The huts, first built of wood, were built with large boulders and the weapons with which the Lemurian attacking dinosaurs or defended themselves as they were made of wood pointed stakes. The Lemurian races without brushing bones lived than they were on the ground, while those with the skeleton evolved ate mostly meat, but also berries and nuts. During the sixth and seventh sub-race, the Lemurians learned to build cities and megalithic cyclopean. The first cities were in the area of Madagascar and a famous urban center was located near Easter Island.
The famous statues of the island, built in the terminal period of Lemuro-Atlanteans, represented the physiognomy of their builders or their ancestors. The religion of the Lemurian was not developed: they had any moral precept and worshiped a supreme entity represented by the sun. The continent of Lemuria, contrary to what was said in the scientific field, took over at the Theosophists far more vast and varied forms, according to the geological periods and sank due to a long series of volcanic cataclysms. Lemurians died especially for fire and suffocation due to gases produced by volcanic eruptions, but the destruction of the Continent was not sudden, indeed, followed geologic time. In the end everything was submerged.
