Ancient Manuscript Reveals 7,000-Year-Old Space Travel
Recent discoveries suggest that ancient Hindu manuscripts attributed to the sage Bharadwaja provide compelling evidence of advanced aviation and interplanetary travel technologies that existed over 7,000 years ago.
Bharadwaja’s Lost Guidelines: A Legacy of Advanced Technology
Bharadwaja documented around 500 guidelines detailing various technologies, including aviation, present on Earth thousands of years ago. However, current manuscripts include only between 100 and 120 of these guidelines. Experts argue that foreign invaders stole many of these invaluable texts, leading to the loss of significant technological knowledge that may have influenced modern advancements.
The Vaimānika Śāstra: Ancient Texts on Aerospace Technology
The Vaimānika Śāstra, a 20th-century Sanskrit text, describes ancient aerospace technology in detail. It suggests that the “Vimānas” mentioned in ancient Sanskrit epics were advanced aerodynamic aircraft, similar to modern rockets. This aligns with the popular theory of Ancient Astronauts, which proposes that extraterrestrial beings visited Earth in the distant past.
GR Josye revealed these texts in 1952. They contain 3,000 shlokas across 8 chapters. Researcher Kanjilal (1985) explains that the Vimānas used “Mercury Vortex Engines,” a concept resembling modern electric propulsion. The manuscripts describe these aircraft as capable of traveling between countries, continents, and planets. This suggests that ancient aviation technology might have surpassed today’s technology. The disappearance of such technologies from historical records indicates that much ancient knowledge has been lost over time.
Modern Perspectives: Skepticism and Curiosity
While many scientists remain skeptical, interest in studying these ancient texts grows. Rajan Welukar, Vice Chancellor of the University of Mumbai, stated, “There is no reason to believe everything said about the Vedas, but it is worth studying.” This reflects the ongoing debate among scholars regarding the feasibility of the ancient flight technologies described in the Vaimānika Śāstra.
A 1974 study by the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore found that the aircraft described in these texts were aeronautically unreliable. Despite this, some researchers and scholars believe that these ancient machines represent highly advanced technological designs that challenge our understanding of history.
Ancient Wisdom vs. Modern Science
Captain Anand J Bodas, quoted by the Mumbai Mirror, criticizes modern science for dismissing concepts it does not fully understand. He argues that ancient Indian definitions of an airplane included vehicles capable of intercontinental and interplanetary travel. Unlike modern aircraft, which primarily move in a straight line, ancient planes were described as massive and capable of multi-directional movement, including up and down.
The debate over the authenticity and practicality of these ancient technologies continues, but the fascination with the possibility of advanced prehistoric civilizations remains strong.
