Lately it seems that Ancient Egypt has decided to give us new and continuous discoveries. After in-depth analysis on the theory that the tomb of Nefertiti can be hidden in a secret room of the young Pharaoh Tutankhamun in the Monument Valley of the Kings, it is now the ancient world wonder who calls us to himself. An international team of architects and scientists were captured by the “thermal anomalies” in the pyramid of Cheops at Giza, as reported by the Egyptian antiquities officials. Three boulders at the bottom of the Great Pyramid, in fact, proved to scan thermal imaging cameras, the hottest of all those that make up the monument. The first advanced theories are that there may be blank areas inside the pyramid, perhaps the secret rooms like others of which I have already had occasion to argue? .
Still others speculate may be the formation of air currents inside the monument. Others that have been used different materials in the construction phase. It ‘strange that this new discovery does that give impetus to the theories which not all, or even very recently, has been discovered and known. A team of architects and scientists from Egypt, France, Canada and Japan have used infrared thermography analysis to monitor the pyramids during sunrise, when the sun begins to heat the limestone structures from the outside, as well as at sunset, when the sun goes down cool. In a statement, the Ministry of Egyptian Antiquities “has ascertained the existence of different thermal anomalies observed in all the monuments during the heating or cooling phases”.
But the real highlight is the responsibility of three stones at the base of the Great Pyramid of Cheops, on the eastern side. In the first row, the stones of the Pyramid are all uniform, but when we come here we discover that there is a different training, the minister said Antiquities Mamdouh al-Damati in front of reporters.
Other thermal anomalies have been detected in the upper half of the Great Pyramid, and this only serves to make it even more intriguing study of this new mystery that comes to us as a distant echo of a glorious past still wrapped in the sands of time and the secret that priests Antiquity guarded jealously.
