Images taken by the HiRISE camera aboard the MRO probe orbiting Mars appear to indicate cleverly designed structures and subdivisions that appear to be of logical proportions of base dimensions. The anomalies found in the Hellas Planitia region have approximately the same length and similar rectilinear features extending a distance of one kilometer. The idea that Mars is inhabited – or at least was, millions of years ago – has fascinated researchers and people for decades.
Throughout human history, as far as written records exist, the red planet has captured the interest of ancient civilizations around the world in a magical way. But there is more to this mysterious planet than just the color red. But how much do we know about Mars today? What if governments around the world aren’t telling us everything they know about the red planet? In the past two years we have learned a lot about the red planet. We have seen that Mars is not a desolate, dead world as researchers previously believed. In fact, Mars may have been Earth‘s twin planet in the distant past.
What do we find on Hellas Planitia?
In the Martian zone called Hellas Planitia, some researchers have found a number of formations that appear to be of artificial origin. From the images, these structures of enormous size, possess regular angles reminiscent of terrestrial buildings. These structures are partially covered by the sands of the Martian deserts and would seem just artificial constructions similar to the Zigurrat of ancient Mesopotamia that are found on Earth, exactly on the Iranian plateau and in areas of modern Turkmenistan.

However it is a fact that there is photographic evidence that something has been artificially built on Mars. There are structures on the surface of the Red Planet found in countless images from space probes, such as those we have posted above from NASA‘s MRO that has been mapping the entire red planet for a long time. From a barren and desolate planet, Mars has shown us that it is more interesting than we ever expected before. Mars is about half the diameter of Earth with a surface area slightly less than Earth’s total land area. The planet is less dense Earth, with about 15% of the volume and 11% of the mass of Earth, causing about 38% of the gravity compared to Earth’s surface. But Mars is extremely similar to Earth in many ways. Experts have shown that the Red Planet was once strikingly similar to Earth, having an atmosphere, lakes, rivers and oceans covering its surface.
The structures discovered on Mars seem to be similar to the Zigurrat of ancient Mesopotamia that are found on Earth, exactly on the Iranian plateau and in the areas of today’s Turkmenistan.
Not long ago, NASA revealed that Mars could have supported life as we know it, but everything changed when the planet lost its atmosphere. According to scientists, the slow destruction of our neighbor’s atmosphere was caused by a planetary event such as could be a sudden reversal and rotation of the magnetic field. So the atmosphere was once hospitable and after that it was swept away. But this happened in the distant past. This means that when Mars was much younger, it was much warmer and wetter, which means it was a good candidate for the development of alien life. Scientists believe that Mars’ oceans evaporated due to the thinning of the planet’s atmosphere. But while Mars may not have life now on its surface, many scientists argue that in the distant past, the planet may have supported life, and not just primitive life forms, but life in a more advanced way such that structures could have been built on its surface. One such scientist is Dr. John Brandenburg, a plasma physicist at Orbital Technologies in Madison, Wisconsin, who is convinced that civilization on Mars was wiped out by nuclear explosions produced by a hostile alien civilization.
The physicist, who has written his own book on the issue, titled Death on Mars: The Discovery of a Planetary Nuclear Massacre, claims that ancient Martians called Cydonians and Utopians were slaughtered in an alien attack – and evidence of this genocide, he says, is still present today. John Brandenburg states that the nuclear isotopes in Mars’ atmosphere are similar to hydrogen bomb tests and “may present an example of a civilization wiped out by a nuclear attack from Space.” A high concentration of xenon-129 in the Martian atmosphere, including uranium and thorium at the surface, was seen by NASA’s Mars Odyssey. Although the vast majority of scientists have already pointed out that the appearance of these elements is not surprising, as they are natural elements found everywhere, Dr. Brandenburg is adamant that they are the remains of two nuclear explosions present on the surface.
And, interestingly enough, every day there are new images from Mars that show that there is something strange on its surface. Over the past two years, countless images from the Red Planet have been analyzed by Alien hunters around the world. Some of them – awkwardly – show what appear to be man-made structures on the planet’s surface. Images found recently through data from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter show an area on the surface of Mars covered in mysterious “structures.” NASA, thanks to photographs and subsequent mapping of Mars by the MRO probe, has noticed several strange “craters” on the surface. The images show terrain covered in “secondary craters,” but astronomers are mystified as to what they look like. NASA has admitted that it does not have a definitive answer to this conundrum. In addition to the image above, there are other areas of the planet’s surface that show equally puzzling “structures.” UFO and anomaly hunters see these structures as conclusive evidence that an ancient civilization may have been present on the surface of Mars in the distant past. Located near Elysium Planitia near the equator of the Red Planet, there are a series of structures that have sparked an online debate about ancient life on Mars. The “controversial” images were taken by NASA-MRO’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter space probe.
If we look for more information about Mars and the possibility that this planet was inhabited at some point in the distant past, we come across one of the most fascinating statements about the planet that General Stubblebine made before his disappearance: “There are structures on the surface of Mars. I will tell you for the record that some structures built by an ancient Martian civilization are under the surface of Mars, but were never seen by the cameras of the Voyager probe that passed by in 1976. I would also like to tell you that there are machines on the surface of Mars, and there are machines under the surface of Mars that you can look at, you can find out many details, you can see what they are, where they are, who they are.”
