Godlike imprints, belonging to ancient gods? Indian mythology tells that the gods Rama and Lakshmana, spent some time in this region in search of Sita, Rama’s wife, kidnapped by the devil.

“They may have been made by local people, the gods of the visit for future reference.” A curious discovery took place in a village in central India has fueled many discussions on the network, according to which a couple of footsteps and a mysterious flying object engraved in the rock could be evidence of ancient astronauts landed in ancient times. In the village of Piska Nagri, in the Indian state of Jharkahnd, geologists are studying some large footprints engraved in a rock, according to local tradition, indicating the visit of ‘ancient Gods came from the sky’.

The engravings are located on a large rock and seem to reproduce the silhouette of a pair of wooden sandals, footwear commonly worn thousands of years ago in the region. Some pairs of footprints measure nearly 30 centimeters in length, while others come to about 25 centimeters. Indian mythology tells that the gods Rama and Lakshmana, spent some time in this region in search of Sita, Rama’s wife, kidnapped by the devil. The life and heroic deeds of Rama are narrated in the Ramayana, an ancient Sanskrit epic, which literally means “The journey of Rama.” The footprints are on a granite rock and, therefore, probably were carved rather than etched in hard substance: They may have been made by local people, in future the visit of deities memory. Next to the footprints there is another interesting image that caught my attention: the engraving of a mysterious flying object. The footprints and the flying object are on the same side of the boulder. Perhaps he wants to indicate that the two of have reached this place on board of a flying object.
